Three weeks ago, okay maybe 4. We got back 3 weeks ago. Ya that's how bad i am at blogging. But anywho, we went and spent 9 wonderful days in Akumal. We DODGED the swine flu, yes i said it, DODGED(we went when the swine flu was just beginning one nasty rath of death) but anyways we went when everyone thought we were crazy. Well we went and had a fantastic time. I actually suggest going when some disease is flying around..haha. But seriously. No one was their! It was fantastic. You could run as nude as you wanted.
HERE'S A COUPLE OF THINGS WE DID...
-We went snorkeling alot, we saw turtles(zak touched them, wasn't supposed to, but ohhhwell). We saw TWO sharks, ya i think i almost pee'd myself. They were only reef sharks or something, zak says its cool, i believed him, even though i wanted to get out...GET OUT! We saw a bunch of sting rays, big ones, little ones.(YA the thing that killed Steve Erwin)
- Drank alot of coke. OH MY i love Coca Cola lite in Mexico...with a lime. I don't know what it is. But i really get addicted to the lime down their.IT was cute. Me and zak would buy some bottled cokes, him a big one, me some smaller one. They would give you straws. Then we would walk the beach.
- WE swam in some Cenote's, which are beautiful. They have some of the clearest water I've ever swam in. IT's a little freaky though, you look up above the water and it looks like nothing, but when you look under the water, it goes down so deep, and you can see EVERYTHING. cRAZY! The pictures don't do it justice.
-Ridin dirty. We had these ghetto bikes that we rode around town. Really funny, Zak fell on his bike trying to keep up, WELL trying to race and keep up. That's all i'm going to say. I mean it's totally cool, but someday he's just going to have to learn that ya don't mess. haha. But wait i am going to say this. He was carrying salsa and mayo, YA, all over his back.
- Watched season 3 of lost. Don't worry we watched season 1, skipped 2, and went to 3. WE were officially lost in LOST. REally though, i kinda think its a gay show, even though they SOME HOW get you to watch the next episode, then the next, then the next.
- Finished a book called "Something Borrowed." I really liked it, even though its a little wrong. i would recommend. Don't be a hater if you don't like it though. Zak finished 5 hunting mags, and a backpacking. He's still pretty cute, even though he's a little obsessed I'd say.
-Walked on the beach picking up rolled glass. It is so BEAUTIFUL. Zak first saw it and we were both in AW, so we decided to collect it. Its going to be our little collection every time we go. Every piece is so unique and a different color. We walked the beaches all week looking for this stuff.
SO, we did alot of stuff, probably even more that i don't remember. We chilled on the beach alot. GOT BURNed. But it was so much fun. It was a great trip for us.
OH and by the way, Delta airplanes with the back seat TVs are awesome...Makes for a lovely ride.
