Black Dragon

As i said in my post below, me and Zak were trying to

 make it a goal to do more hiking/camping this year.

So we went to office max, picked out a calendar,

 and wrote down our schedule for the upcoming months.

We've done pretty good so far,

 as i haven't really posted every thing so far.

(typical of myself)

But this trip, we headed down to San Rafael.

And decided from our lovely "Hiking in Utah" book that we would

go down to Black Dragon Canyon.

We got their around one,

 found a spot in the dark. Pitched our tent,

 tried to give our dog some puppy Zanex that our vet gave us.

To "calm" Huey down in certain instances.

No Bueno.

Zanex = Crazy/Spastic dog.

Poor Zak. I made him deal with that cute jumping terror below.

Anyways, that morning we moved camp,

( picking spots in the dark doesn't work that well.)

Then we headed down the canyon.

We went down the canyon a couple of miles,

 checked out some pictographs, then back.

Then up the slick rock.

These flowers were all over the slick rock. They were these rings of flowers.

I hate cliffs and those sort of height issues,
so it was kinda humorous how far off

i was from the edge when i was looking at my pictures.
